Smile creases start at our nostrils and are partially caused by the shortening of the muscles that lift them.
With this exercise we are going to relax and stretch those muscles.
First - we work the muscles that start at inner corners of the eyes.
With circular motions, we massage up and down these muscles.
I prefer to use tips of my middle fingers.
Then we massage a little muscle that is on either side of our nose walls.
Alright, now that we’ve warmed them up, it’s time to stretch them.
We press our middle fingers into the inner corners of our eyes and slowly slide them down towards our nostrils.
Open up your lips so you can breath, because we are going to stretch the sides of our nostrils down and towards each other, like this.
Hold them like that for about 10 seconds.
Then give a quick massage again and follow up with another stretch.
Hold for 10.
And one more time - Massage and stretch.
Finishing up with a gentle swipe up.
Voila!
